Important Notice: Violations and Permanent Account Suspensions

At PostcardUnited, we strive to maintain a positive, respectful, and safe environment for all our members. To ensure the best experience for everyone, we strictly enforce our Terms of Service. Recently, we’ve had to take serious action by permanently suspending accounts that have violated these guidelines.

Why Accounts Are Permanently Suspended:

An account may be permanently suspended if it repeatedly violates our content policies, including but not limited to:

  • Uploading inappropriate or offensive images.
  • Deleting the sender’s original postcard image and replacing it with an incorrect or different image that you did not receive.
  • Engaging in abusive or harmful behavior towards other members.
  • Spamming or promoting unauthorized content.

What Does Permanent Suspension Mean?

When an account is permanently suspended:

  • You will lose access to your account, including any active postcards, messages, and other features.
  • Any attempts to create new accounts may also be subject to suspension unless our guidelines are followed.
  • You will not be able to appeal or recover the suspended account.

How to Avoid Permanent Suspension:

To avoid suspension, it’s crucial to follow our content guidelines and community standards:

  1. Upload Appropriate Content – Ensure all your uploads, including images and messages, comply with our guidelines. Do not delete the sender’s original postcard image and replace it with a different one that you did not receive. Always respect the integrity of the postcard exchange.
  2. Respect Other Members – Engage respectfully and avoid harmful or disruptive behavior.
  3. Review Our Terms of Service – Familiarize yourself with our rules to avoid accidental violations.

Consequences for Future Violations:

We value every member of our community and encourage everyone to participate actively in a positive way. However, continued violations will lead to permanent, non-reversible actions.

  • Could you please look into a member called Sharkz and Shazza? She is located in Australia. I believe she has two accounts. Her profile/the types of postcards she wants is not worded very nicely. She uploaded an image of a postcard from Australia which was clearly not sent by me (USA – 122342).

      This member account has been banned due to repeated violations of PostcardUnited’s Terms of Service, including the upload of vulgar images, deletion of postcard images, and submission of incorrect postcard content.

  • Thank you so much for taking action! I have had so many “empty” Chinese accounts all going for the same address, none ever replyed to my questions. It´s good to have a link now to the admin, so I will report, if it happens again.
    btw – “South-Of-Eden” and “Sharkz” were more account names of Shazza

  • ohh we noticed that many people just receive cards and they not send id cards. When we have doubts we always wait 2 or 3 months to know if that person is sending mail or not.

    And some people sent 1 ID card and receive many id cards.

    Our best wishes, ohhh very important: we have been saving ID cards in a plastic box to people in Countries where we cant send mail, if there a chance to give only IDs to Countries where we can send mail. Thanks.
